Mass production of tea requires the use of fertilizers, growth enhancers, pest control agents. Some of these chemicals can be absorbed by plants and accumulate in the tea leaves, from where they enter your cup. And these substances harm not only your health, but also the environment.
Organic tea is grown differently. To fertilize the soil, plantation owners use only natural products (natural compost, manure, milk whey). Such eco-farms can exist for more than a hundred years without disturbing the natural balance and without harming soil, water and air. Elite teas are grown only in environmentally friendly areas.
